EXTERIOR:

The aircraft paint is rated a 9/10 on the NAAA Aircraft Exterior Paint Grading Standards scale. The paint is new Sherwin-Williams Jet-Glo.  A few of the smaller parts are not stripped or painted yet.  


INTERIOR:

The interior is original four leather/wool seats with some dry cracking.  The fifth and sixth seats are included, but do not match the interior.  The carpet and side panels are in good shape..

The entire inside fo the fuselage has been cleaned and primed with an epoxy self etching primer.  The wings have a light coat of Zinc-Chromate applied in each wing bay.


DAMAGE HISTORY:


The aircraft was involved in an accident on December 28, 1979 and has not flown since.  The aircraft was on a test flight after an autopilot installation and ran out of fuel.  It was landed in a field, and at the end of the field hit a ditch and nosed over.


REPAIRS COMPLETED:


Fuselage:  The fuselage has been repaired and painted with Sherwin-Williams Jet-Glo paint.  The upper hat section around the cabin door was replaced.  The forward skin over the forward cabin was replaced.  The lower skins were replaced from about the aft spar forward.  The interior and exterior of the entire fuselage was cleaned, etched and alodyned and painted with self etching epoxy primer.


Wings: The YIP FSDO has agreed to approve the installation of a set of V35B wings on this fuselage.  A set of wings has been acquired from D-9932, repairs compled due to shipping damage, etched, alodyned primed with a self-etching epoxy primer and painted with white Jet-Glo paint.  


The landing gear from D-9932 was completly disassembled, stripped, and painted to match the airframe.  They have been reassembled with new seals and many new parts and are ready for attachement to the wings and fuselage. The nose landing gear is already installed.
